Location
We have a classroom at Prescott College, and we spend a lot of time in the community based on what we are learning. When we aren't in the classroom, we meet in nature, community centers, parks, and more. We strongly encourage carpooling with other families!
Example of locations:
Parks- Granite Creek Park, Flinn Park, etc.
Lakes- Watson & Willow, Granite Basin, Lynx, and Goldwater
Community Centers- Prescott Library, Museum of Indigenous People, Sharlott Hall, etc.
Nature spaces- Granite Mountain, Thumb Butte, Dells, etc.
Parent Involvement
Community is everything, and at Foraging Hands, we ask the parents to be involved. You are welcome and encouraged to stay for classes and collaborate with us!
Parent communication is key, and there will be daily check-ins, emailed highlights with photos, and quarterly Celebration of Learning to highlight the children's discoveries.
